A few entries from December 1986 and a few months into 1987

 These entries were written in an engagement calendar that I kept only for the sayings by an artist/writer I liked at the time, Flavia


Sunday (December 28): Grandma [Green] died. 10 am

Monday December 29: Grandma's visitation. Saw family. Aunt Nancy and Uncle Quay. Nancy looking old -- lost teeth.

Tuesday December 30: Grandma's service. Food at Mom's. Mon doing O.K.

Wednesday December 31: Went out with Dean and Billy. Home by 11:30

Friday January 2: Go to Dekalb with Dean. See Steve and Christ. Friend John makes chicken. Good time!

Saturday January 4: Home to Alexandria

Monday January 5: School -- nice to be back

Thursday January 22: Big snow -- no school. Dean cam back home at 11:00. Gov't closed

Friday January 23: No school again. Bored!

Sunday January 25: Superbowl Sunday. Boring game. Snowed all day

Monday January 26: No school again

Tuesday January 27: No school

Wednesday January 28: No school -- went in anyway

Thursday January 29: No school again (what in the world?)

Friday January 30: No school again

Monday February 2: GH saw his shadow. Finally -- back at school. Bad news -- no spring break. School on a Sunday, President's day, Good Friday. Bleh!

Monday February 9: Letter to Lois

Thursday February 12: Dinner with Will, Drew, Juliana, and Ron (?) at Thai Gourmet. Great! But hot and very expensive.

Friday February 13: Letter from Marie ✔

Saturday February 14: Good dinner at home

Tuesday February 17: Letter to Candy. Letter to Marie

Wednesday February 18: Self-study meeting at school. D.H. said I wrote well. Made my day!

Saturday February 16: Made 7lb chicken dinner. Roasted chicken upside down -- couldn't find "pop-up" thing then found out why! No chicken for dinner! (Raw)

Tuesday March 3: Got new contact lenses. Great! Dr. said my eye pressure high -- kinda worried but won't think about it until the new test in two weeks. Should I go
